POOL AND TENNIS COURTS

It has come to the attention of the Board of Directors from Condo Group # 1 that periodically when new issues arise within the Condo Group, that not all homeowners have read or are aware of some of the Condo By Laws. Recently the issue of the ownership of the pool and tennis courts have been discussed and people were not aware that the pool and the tennis courts are "leased" to the HOA Association. In essence, the pool and tennis courts are legally owned by the developer, even though all related costs are being borne by the River Run Community Association. I am attaching a copy of the original agreement that was adopted in January of 1995 by Board Members Lewis S. Meltzer, Allen Skolnick, and Richard Passwater.

  Update from Jack Katzman....2-11-09 I just want to update  the homeowners on the status of the pool and tennis courts.  The lease was implemented because the developer did not have the final plans for the existing driving range.  Now that the plans have been approved by the county, the developer plans on deeding over the pool and tennis courts to the HOA.  It wasn't done before, because if for some reason the pool and tennis courts had to be moved at the developers expense, it would have been a problem had the HOA owned it.  Just wanted to clarify the situation.
